Alice

Is a 2D puzzle and collection game made for iOS and Android. Implemented entirely in the Unity UI system.

 
 
  • By using the Alice in Wonderland as the story base, a solid base for gameplay-driven narrative was created, as the denizens provide a hierarchy and factions.

  • The idea was not to make just another match puzzle game, but to provide a unique touch. This came in the form of moving elements on the battlefield and some unique interactions between some of them.

  • An organic player progression system was made for Alice in the form of a chest of collectibles.

 
 

From design to publishing

In this project I handled the following aspects of development:

  • Creating gameplay systems, implementing the design choices.

  • Communicating requirements and handling delivery from an outsource art asset studio.

  • Allocating and cutting the assets.

  • Implementing third person advertisement and monetization services.

  • Handling user authentification and backend user account communication, ensuring server-only execution for data-sensitive functionality.

  • Optimizing the rendering and performance for publishing standards.

  • Ensuring the project adheres to PlayStore and Appstore publishing guidelines.
